News Dog park to change 'paws' in Vacaville
Operation of the city's only sanctioned dog park will shift next week from the group who fought for its establishment to the city Community Services Department.
In a letter to the city last month, Peggy Bosley, president of P.A.W.S. (People Aware of the Well-being of the Speechless) said the organization -- which has managed and maintained the Janine Jordan Park for Dogs since it was established in April 2003 -- would be transferring all management and maintenance of the park to the city effective Monday.
