Second Annual Doggy Derby |

The second annual Doggy Derby will feature dog agility demonstrations, Frisbee dogs, obedience demonstrations, vendors, a dog wash and even competitions that owners can enter with their own pets.
The SPCA will also be hosting a DNA swab-a-thon put on by the Canine Heritage breed test. This non-invasive, cheek-swab test will help you identify the breeds that make up your mixed-breed dog. A portion of the proceeds of each kit sold will benefit the animals of the SPCA.
There will be food, beverages and baked goods for sale at the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SPCA of Solano County, 2200 Peabody Road, Vacaville. Admission to the event is free. All well-behaved dogs are welcome.
